1. Scale Drawing of Sign:
See accompanying scale drawing of Historic New England signage -
labeled "A".
Historic New England signs are made of 3/16" aluminum plate,with
graphics fisketed and sprayed on both sides. A sample of the
aluminum plate can be supplied.
The Historic New England scroll bracket is cast iron, painted black.
Dimensions:
Historic New England signs are 24"wide and 40 1/2" long.
The 4" x 4" wooden post from which the sign hangs is 10"6"high.
2. Color Scheme, Letter Style, Letter Size:
The colors are black, blue, and white. The letters are white, set in
Sabon, Sabon Italic, Sabon Small Caps, and Oldstyle Figures. The
House name is 81.54 point, dates and open hours in 22 point. The
Historic New England logo is reversed out on the lower,blue
portion of the sign.
3. Method of attachment:
Threaded"D" rings through holes in aluminum plate/sign, attached
to scroll bracket.
