Dear Mr. Bourgeault,
I have considered the argument regarding the storage of your limousine or livery car, in a rented garage at
Settlers Way.After giving this considerable thought,I have come to the conclusion that this does constitute
running a business from a residential area. Garages are supposed to be used for accessory uses to a residence
which they are associated with. You are directed to cease storing the car at the rental garage within ten days of
receipt of this notice. If you feel you are aggrieved by this order, your Appeal must be filed to the Salem Zoning
Board of Appeals. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.

Dear Mr . Bourgeault,
This Department has received and confirmed a complaint regarding you running of a limousine service from
your property. Settlers way is zoned R-1 which does not allow your use.You are directed to cease using the
property for business uses. Failure to comply will result in Municipal Code tickets and further enforcement
action. If you feel you are aggrieved by my zoning interpretation, your Appeal is to the Salem Zoning Board of
