Dear Mr. Vargas:
You are hereby advised that the carport erected at the referenced
property is in violation of Section VI A (Table II) , Section. VII H-19
2 and 3, and Section IX B of the Salem Zoning Ordinances. Specifically
said violations are insufficient setback clearances and failure to
obtain a building permit.
In compliance with Section Ili B of the Zoning Ordinances you are
hereby ordered to remove the carport.
Violations of any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall constitute
a misdemeanor. Any person who 'violatts this Ordinance shall, upon
conviction thereof, be fined not more thaA one hundred dollars per
violation, and in addition shall pay all costs and expenses involved
in the case. Each day such violation continues shall be considered
a separate offense. Nothing herein contained shall prevent the City
from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or
remedy any violation.
