Dear Sir: In compliance with your appointment of me to the Survey Board I wish to make the following report as the result of my personal inspection of the premises at 2-4 School Street. It is my opinion that the building has been more than 50% destroyed by the series of fires which have occured. The structural damage extends throughout the building from the basement to the roof which is totally destroyed. There is also considerable deflection of the remaining framing of the building. My inspection was made on the afternoon of July 17, 1974.
