JuH 13 1139 F8 CiERKSALa, MAss SCHEDULE A The Petitioner wishes to reconfigure her existing four lots into a new design for four lots all as shown on the attached plan. The Petitioner proposes to keep unchanged lots numbers 356 and 357 and to redivide the boundary line between lots 702 and 703 . The resulting square footages are as shown on the plans. To accomplish the redivision the Petitioner requires variances from lot area, lot width, and also with respect to proposed lot 702 only, front yard requirements (15 feet is required and the Petitioner only as 14 . 8 feet) . Petitioner has lived in the existing house for many years and has owned the adjacent lots. Petitioner wishes to make lots available to her children so they can reside close to her. The lots are comparable in size and configuration to similar lots in the neighborhood. They are part of a subdivision originally laid out in 1928 when lot sizes and frontages were not as large as they are today. Petitioner's land is irregular in shape and topography with several grade changes and abundant ledge. These conditions are unique to these lots and do not affect lots generally in the zoning district. Petitioner could not practically acquire additional land to make the lots conform to zoning. The conditions peculiar to these lots create hardship to the Petitioner financial and otherwise if the zoning ordinance is literally enforced in her case. Desirable relief may be granted without substantial detriment to the public good and without nullifying or substantially derogating from the intent to the zoning district or the purposes of the zoning ordinance. Accordingly, Petitioner requests the above variances and further requests that they be granted to allow Petitioner to divide her land substantially in conformance with the attached plan, but with flexibility to make minor changes to lot boundaries which may be required 'by the land court because of technical survey reasons. 3\cases\jrs.jr\schedule.a si Et 4W' 01,— "CARTER s TOWERS ENGINEERING CORP. .ue-, oounaelazd`PjiaKle.
