The Undersigned hereby petitions the Board of Appeals to vary the terms of the Salem
Zoning Ordinance ,¢ac,CteecAlat{®ccxN7&xQa3cx6cxEmcmtaxaCx&uk3c:3iS8xxlCu
apganrexghaxonceecapea:mymcoobex&bdcxfvllpdc, as the enforcement of said
Zoning By-Laws =dcnOndecwould involve practical difficulty or unnecessary
hardship to the Undersigned and relief may be granted without substantially dero-
gating from the intent and purpose of the Zoning Ordinance amoidia&gx8sde for the
following reasons:
Approximately five years ago, the petitioner applied for and obtained from the Board of
Appeals a Special Permit which allowed him to maintain a professional office for his
practice of psychiatry at his present address. The petitioner is a sole practitioner
who does not require or use a secretary. Due to the growth of his family, he would propose
to discontinue his present office which is needed for additional family space. The locus
property contains adequate parking space for two possibly three vehicles to be used only
by tenant and patients. it is respectfully submitted that the proposed use is quiet and
inconspicuous and will not result in any adverse effect nor in any way be detrimental to
the neighborhood and is, therefore, in harmony with the intent and purpose of the zoning
ordinance.
