Notice of the hearing was sent to abutters and others and notices of the hearing were properly published in the Salem Evening News in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. The petitioner, Robert Cucurull, 109 Boston St. , Salem is requesting a Variance to allow the property to be used for auto body work, auto repair, spray painting and to store vehicles. The property is owned by Edward Canty and is located in the B-2 district. The petitioner requested leave to withdraw this petition without prejudice to allow him the opportunity to meet with the neighbors and to re-apply at a later date. The Board of Appeal voted unanimously 5-0 to grant petitioners request for leave to withdraw this petition for a Variances without prejudice.
