Dear Mr.Rich,
This letter is to inform you that a Building permit(B-19-680)was pulled by your estranged wife for work that
was performed at 11 Marlborough Road. You stated to us that your estranged wife could not pull permits. I
checked with our legal Department to confirm our opinion that she could in fact pull a building permit. You also
stated that the home was unsafe and should be condemned. You also stated that neither my assistant, Steve
Cummings or I were competent enough to determine this fact.
Regardless of your opinion,I had Steve Cummings inspect the work that was done and enclosed you will find a
copy of the Inspection report.We consider this issue closed but as I stated before,if you feel that there is a
building code issue,you may file an appeal with the Board of Buildings,Regulations and Standards in Boston .
You also stated that you wished to file a complaint about Steve Cummings and please feel free to do so.
Going forward,please put your thoughts and or comments in writing. I have instructed my staff not to have any
verbal conversations with you.
