Our application was presented to the Commission on June 6, 2007 and our Certificate of Appropriateness is dated June 11, 2007. In 2007 and 2008 we completed all of the work on the house (including completely re-siding and adding copper gutters done by Richard Stevens) and added a new granite front step and site walls (to replace crumbling CMU walls). In 2008 we ran out of time,felt low on funds,and were tired out by the effort. In 2009,we worked on the plantings on our own. The house and yard look great and we are now re-energized and ready to tackle the fence this year...the sooner the better. The Commission approved a very nice wood picket fence in combination with a wood flatboard fence for the perimeter of the yard. We want to continue with exactly the same design that we presented in 2007. Please let me know if our extension is granted. If there is any additional information needed, please feel free to email or call. We are looking forward to a busy Spring and Summer!
