They were responding to a bird trapped between two window panes. The Salem Fire Department entered the building and then called me.The building is empty and the exterior is in need of repairs. There are several openings in the soffits and fascia as well as two window openings that are covered with plywood.Pigeons have occupied several areas of the building and are now creating a nuisance and possible Health Hazard for the neighborhood. The front porch is in bad condition and needs immediate repairs. The side porch is not much better. Failure to maintain a property is a violation of the Mass. State Building Code 780 C.M.R.
