The work you have proposed at your property, 18 Kosciusko, including the replacement
of rotted siding and corner boards, is exempt from review by the Conservation
Commission. Although the work is located within the 100 foot buffer zone of resource
areas (coastal bank and coastal beach) the work you described will not result in ground
disturbance. Therefore you do not need to file any permits with the Conservation
Commission. I will inform the Commissioners of the project and the exemption status
you have received.
After our site visit this morning I checked to see if you are within a Historic District.
Since you are within a Historic District you will need to speak to Jane Guy in the
planning department to determine which filing you need to complete to proceed with
