SALLM SACHUSETTS01970 (978) 7459595 EXT 311 F- • 3)740-0404 April 2, 2009 Michael and Tracy Treadwell 3 Harrington Court Salem, MA 01970 Dear Mr. and Ms. Treadwell, As you know, prior to your purchase of 3 Harrington Court in December, 2000, the Salem Historical Comrr_ission had a Clerk's Certificate of Vote filed with the Registry of Deeds, which documented outstanding violations (work undertaken by the previous owner without Commission approval). This work included satellite dish installation and alterations to the side porch. The Clerk's Certificate of Vote is used to alert new buyers that a violation exists, so that they do not purchase a property and inherit a violation without prior knowledge. In order to assist with the sale of the property to you, the Commission removed the Clerk's Certificate of Vote, in exchange for your written agreement to correct the outstanding violations within six months of your closing date. As per your request for notification, please be advised that at its meeting of April 1, 2009, the Commission voted unanimously that the violations noted above have been corrected and to remove your property address from the list of open violations. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
