NOTICE OF DENIAL OF APPLICATION FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS
On Wednesday, July 5, 1989, the Salem Historical Commission denied an
application for a Certificate of Appropriateness from Thomas & Susan Durkin
for the replacement of a skylight and the installation of a fence at 14
Flint Street. The two items were unanimously denied. The Commission's
denial on the skylight was due to the type and number of skylights
existing, not being appropriate to this building. The fence was denied
without prejudice as tot being appropriate for a house of this age. I
attest that this is an accurate record of the vote taken, not amended or
modified in any way to this date.
