Dear Ms. Sullivan:
It has come to the attention of the Salem Historical Commission that work has been
undertaken on your property at 111 Federal Street, which is located in a local historic district
(changes to the front steps). Through discussions with our clerk, Natalie Lovett,the Commission
has come to understand that these changes are temporary in order to accommodate a medical
necessity. Temporary structures require a Certificate of Non-Applicability from the Historical
Commission
Within 15 days,please submit an application for a Certificate of Non-Applicability. A copy
of the application is enclosed with this letter.
