I am simply replacing french doors that are rotted out. They are on my enclosed patio and not in view from the
public mad. The photograph is taken from Federal Court looking directly at the place where the french Door is. It
can't be seen due to a fence and plantings that enclose my patio I am replacing them with the same type and design
door that was there previously. There are two two doors each door has 15,I believe they are called lights
(windowpanes).Additionally,I am replacing a fixed window in the middle peak at the back of the house. It will be
the same size and type as is there currently. It is being replaced due to leaking. This is not a change but a
replacement or rotted areas.

PROCEDURES FOR FILING APPLICATIONS
A. lie prepared to apply lir approvals well in advance of comunencing any exterior work. Before making My changes to the exterior ora property
in ran historic district,the owner should call or visit the Commission representative at the Department of Planning&.Community Development fo
discuss proposed alterations and to determine the category of the application(Appropriateness,Non-Applicability or Hardship).
B. The Commission normally meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month and notices are posted at City I fall. The meetings are held at
120 Washington Street,3rd floor,and begin at 7:00 P.M. All meetings are open to the public and any person is cntitial to appear and be heard
on any matter before the Commission before it reaches a decision.
C. An application for a Certificate of Appropriateness or Hardship must be received by 3:00 p.m.on the Monday 16 Jays before the meeting in
order to make the agenda. An application for a Certificate of Non-Applicability maynormally be added to the agenda up to the Jay of the
meeting. In some cases,a Certificate of Nun-Applicability maybe issued by the Clerk,without review by the full Commission,alter notifying
Commission members and allowing 24 hours for any objection. There is no fee for any applications.
D. All applications for Certificates of Appropriateness or Hardship require a public hearing. Notice of the hearing must be posted with the City
Clerk 14 days before the hearing and abutters must be notified in writing. Commission sta0'will handle these procedures. A public hearing is
not required for a Certificate of Non-Applicability.
