NOTICE OF DENIAL OF APPLICATION FOR A CERTIFICATE OF HARDSHIP
RE: 401 Essex Street
On Wednesday, April 7, 1993 , the Salem Historical Commission,
unanimously voted to deny an application for a Certificate of
Hardship from David Schaejbe for the replacement of a slate roof
with asphalt at 401 Essex Street. The denial was due to the
applicant not having supplied information relating to the ability
of his insurance to cover the slate replacement and that the time
deadline for acting on an application would not permit a
continuance to the next meeting.
I attest that this is an accurate record of the vote taken, not
amended or modified in any way to this date.

building inspector for determination that all zoning requirements are
met for conversion from an office to a dwelling, particularly in respect
to the required minimum square footage for a dwelling unit andamy
proposed new construction requirements." If you could notify me
