On Wednesday, May 25, 1988, the Salem Historical Commission denied an
application for a Certificate of Appropriateness from David and Deborah
Clarke for their property at 386 Essex Street for the installation of a
roof deck and doors by a vote of 7 in favor and none opposed. This vote
was based on lack of information from the applicants about their
application. I attest that this is an accurate record of the vote taken,
not amended or modified in any way to this date.
