property. I observed several new replacement windows . A check of our records indicate that no building permit
was issued. Enclosed,find a citation for failure to obtain a building permit. Furthermore,a certificate of
approval would have been needed from the Historical Commission before a building permit could have been
issued.I have issued a stop work order on this property. You are directed to contact the Salem Historica
Commission immediately. Failure to address this matter will result in further citations and additional
enforcement actions.
