We'll also be resetting the granite steps to remove a safety hazard and to keep water out. Photos are attached as well. Is there anything else you need from me? If so, please email or call me on 978-804-9597. Thanks, Gary P. Morrison, CR Certified Remodeler arr.. The sill, which is not exposed, will need to be temporarily exposed by removing about 8' of existing water table to the left of the front door, 8' of water table to the right of the front door as well as the toe kick and two plinth blocks located beneath the front door. There will also be some minor clapboard removal. See attached photos of the front of the house. Once the old sill is removed and the new one installed, the exterior trim, water tables, plinths, and toe kick, and clapboards will all be returned to their original location. The wooden clapboards, toe kick and plinth blocks will be replaced with new stock in kind. All replacements will be of the same material and color(once painted)as original. All water tables, plinth blocks and toe kick will all be repainted back to original colors. In order to solve another problem,we would like to reset the granite steps. There is currently a gap in between step 2 and the top step(see photo). This was caused by the bottom step sinking. In order to improve safety,we are requesting to remove the bottom two steps, install a new base for the bottom step, and then return both steps to their original location, except for the unnecessary gap. Other than the gap being removed,it will appear to be exactly the same as it is today. .. .eae sNLe 10•.1+y b c...S... •4 S \w c\ 5.1c w.Aar ,,,..a ..ah G\...l.,rprtpt'(\.L„ Gary Morrison,CR --mss a. -S ra -.. Owner obtained a Cert of non-applicability dated 9/15/08 to replace some of the windows and did so at that time. These 18 windows will replace all of the remaining older windows. Storm windows will also be installed over the new windows as was done in previous window replacements (see photo 4). Storm windows will replicate existing to greatest extent possible in terms of color, appearance and material. I don't believe storm doors fall under the jurisdiction of the Historic Commission, but in keeping with full disclosure, I wanted you know that we will be installing two new storm doors. one on the front and one on the rear.
