Murphy, Jr. Murphy, Ryan & O'Keefe Ten Chestnut Street Peabody, MA. 01960 RE: Development - Rockdale Avenue z Dear Mr. Murphy: I have received your letter dated January 21, 1986 concerning the requirement for installation of. granite curbstones along Rockdale Avenue. -- Be advised that bituminous berms are unacceptable to this office. Mr. Hewitt was so notified of this when he submitted plans to my office for approval of street improvements. At that time Mr. Hewitt agreed to install granite curbstones and bituminous sidewalks and accordingly reflected that information on the plans. These plans were subsequently approved by my office. Furthermore, in accordance with Chapter 26, Section 105 of the Salem Code of Ordinances, the materials used for sidewalk and curbing shall be determined by the Director of Public Services.
