onfy do we have to renovate the new space, but we also have to pay all utilities including water, sewer, trash,
etc.
We are a small daycare. We are licensed for 44 children, and we have 12 staff members. Most of our children
come from low income and single parent homes. I am writing to you to see if there is anything you could do,
or have any information that could help us in our quest for a new location. We need to be out of the building
by July 22, 2014. I am trying all avenues I can think of,because if we can not find a building we will have to
close. And this would be very devastating for the parents as well as the staff. We have looked at some
buildings
but some were too expensive for us, and some too small. We have been working on this new space for a few
months,
hiring an architect to do the drawings,working with Michael from the building department, and we thought this
was finally
going to be our new space, until we received the lease and found it to be too expensive. At this moment we
don't know
what else to do. I am sending letters to the State Representatives, as well as Congressman John Tierney, in
hopes that
maybe someone could have some ideas for us.

On Wednesday, April 7, 1993, the Salem Historical Commission by of
vote of 5 in favor of denial with two abstentions, voted to deny a
Certificate of Appropriateness from C. Meade and Patricia Camenga
to replace a wooden picket fence with a custom iron fence at 19
Broad Street.
