COPPER GUTTER PROPOSAL

Dear Mrs. Cassella,
As requested we are quoting you on the following work:
New 5"custom copper OG gutter:
Erect a pump jack staging,running the entire length of the left side of the house.
• Remove the wooden gutter and the split fascia board.
• Furnish and install new 1"X12"Primed Pine fascia board,replacing the split
fascia board.
New fascia board will be fastened to the rafter tails with stainless steel fasteners.
• Fabricate and install new 5" OG copper gutter along the entire 2"d story of the
house on the left side,replacing the wooden gutter and fascia board.
• The profile of the gutter will be the same size and dimensions as the gutter we
installed on the driveway side a few years ago.
• Remove and properly dispose of existing wood gutter.
• l"X 1/8" solid copper bar will run along the face of the gutter to give the gutter its
strength.The copper bar will be used to make the hangers with a twist.
• All seams,end caps and outlets will be thoroughly soldered.
• Fabricate and install new 3" copper outlets to drain the water from the gutter.
• Debris will be cleaned up at the end of each day.
Cost to do this work will be TWELVE THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED SIXTY
($12,360.00) DOLLARS.
Clean up debris upon completion of the work and furnish workmen's compensation and
public liability insurance to protect the owner in case of an accident while work is in
progress.
Any rotted roof boards must be replaced on a time and material basis before work can
continue.

To renew rear entrance roof with new rubber membrane and flashing the walls,the cost

All the clapboards should be replaced after our work is completed; we could also do the
clapboard work.
The cave on roof over rear section may need to be addressed for bad boards,we won't
know until we remove existing wood gutter.
General slate repair while this work is on going will be approximately $1,550.00 dollars.
Any bad boards found will have to be renewed on a stock and time basis before roof
work can continue.
If this proposal is accepted we will send you a contract with a payment schedule to be
signed and a copy returned to us.
If you are in the Historic District it is your responsibility to get their authorization.
We would advise you to remove any valuables from your walls,also cover anything in
your attic, because vibrations may cause debris to come through during this project.
Any permits require by local City/Town will be at an additional charge.
Certificate of insurance is available upon request.
