RE: 31 Ravenna Avenue
Dear Mr.Pelletier:
This department has received numerous complaints about the unregistered car on your
property.
I previously spoke with a member of your family about the vehicle but nothing has
changed.
The storage of unregistered vehicles violates City of Salem Ordinance 24-21. I have
enclosed a copy of this ordinance.
You are directed to remove the vehicle or comply with this ordinance within 15 days
Failure to comply will result in a daily fine of$50.00 being assessed. If you have any
questions, please contact this office.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation in this matter.
Sincerely,
Thomas St. Pierre

Dear Mr. St. Pierre,
Thank you for bringing City of Salem Ordinance 24-21 to our attention. We are making
every effort to remove the unregistered Chevrolet Nova from our property and donate it
to The Boys and Girls Club who will take it away and use it to support their charitable
work in Salem
In order for them to take possession of said vehicle, we must have the title to the vehicle
in our hands. Unfortunately, the title has been lost. We have applied to the Registry of
Motor Vehicles for a duplicate title. As soon as the Registry of Motor Vehicles issues the
duplicate title, the Boys and Girls Club will send a tow truck to remove the car.
Since the Registry of Motor Vehicles needs 15 days to issue a duplicate title, could we
please have a 15-day extension to comply with your order? That will extend the deadline
to May 12 by our calculations. If the vehicle can be removed from our property and
donated to a good cause any sooner, it will be done immediately, as we are as tired of
looking at this automobile as our neighbors are.
Sincerely yours,
Michael E. Pelletier
