Dear Owner:
This department has received complaints about several items at your property;
1. Violation of City of Salem Zoning Ordinance Section 7-1 Trailers
Trailers cannot be stored in any front yard or any closer than 10'feet to the
property line. Please remove the trailer immediately.
2. Unregistered Cars
Unregistered and uninspected vehicles cannot remain on the property more than
15 days. Salem General Ordinance 24-21
3. Car Tires—Health Violation
Automobiles tires must be removed or stored properly.
4. The front yard area of a residential property cannot be used for parking

5. Pool - Last year you were contacted by the Health Department about the pool
being in disrepair. Polls are permitted and regulated by the Massachusetts State
Building Code, Section 103 of the Building Code requires you to maintain or
make safe the pool area. If the pool is not going to be used,the liner must be
removed and 3-foot high fence must be erected around the pool.
Items 2,3,4,5 must be started within 30 days. Failure to comply will result in a
complaint being filed in Salem District Court.
