Your Roofing Company, A C Castle ( State License 054882, H I C Registration 1 17846) received a building permit #482-07 to reroof one half of 48-50 Prince Street. Your workers, while working next door, trespassed onto my property. No pennission was asked for or granted. More importantly, your workers were stripping an old slate roof. During this process, the vinyl siding on my house was damaged. I have obtained estimates for repairs from the Aulsen Company who installed the siding originally. Your foreman, Ron, assured me that he would make the necessary arrangements to have the repairs done. I have heard nothing from your company. Dear Ms. Connell, The Aulson Company, Inc. (Aulson) is pleased to offer our proposal for the above- referenced project. Aulson is a specialty contractor that specializes in hazardous coatings removal, residential and industrial deleading, environmental remediation, windows, sidings doors and historic restoration. We are pleased 10 offer this proposal based on your request and the site visit. Due to damage caused by removal and replacement of neighbor's roof located at 48-50 Prince Street, Salem, MA. Request for inspection, cleaning of roofing tar and repair to damaged vinyl siding and aluminum coil stock trim coverage. Scope of Wor 1. Remov and replacement of cracked, damaged or broken siding with new vinyl to match e'zisting color as close as possible. 2. Remove and replace dented and damaged coil stock and trim coverage. 3. Upon detailed inspection any and all additional damage/repairs found would be an additional cost to the contract. 4. Clean uR of debris on customer's rubber roof and inspection. 5. Proper clean-up of all grounds (roofing nails etc.). Conditions & Qualifications: We expect Rosemarie Connell to provide the following: • Water, lighting and power. • Unencumbered access, at all times, to the work area. • All obstructions to be removed prior to our work beginning. • Storage area for materials and small equipment, if necessary. We anticipate the following: • No guarantees are made on time scheduling due to inclement weather which may hinder the progress of work. • All work methodology shall comply with government regulations. • We have not made any assumption towards the existence of any unidentified materials. • We are responsible for proper clean-up of the work area only. Any request for larger or additional clean-up outside the work area is not included in the contract price. • We have not included the repair of any deficient existing conditions.
