It was determined at this time that the level of construction that was being done had created enough of a danger that tenancy within this property was deemed unacceptable until the fire separation had repaired. Ms. Moore voluntarily assumed the expense of relocation of these tenants to suitable quarters for the duration of these repairs. I can attest to the fact that Ms. Moore went above and beyond to provide for these tenants during this period. She secured the property, provided replacement quarters, and secured the needed contractors to tum this situation around in the period of about one week. She drove her help to finish this project and return her tenants to their homes in time for the start of the school year. I can also attest to the fact that Ms. Moore gained the respect of all our inspectional service people by her positive and proactive approach to this problem. Her tenants have now been returned to their apartments that have been substantially improved, with updated kitchens and baths. On July 3 , 1997 you called my office and said you were requesting prices from contractors in order to have porches repaired. To this date no work has been performed.
