Sirs Plans submitted for review on Sept. 15, 1981, for substantial renovations to the structure at 26 Prince St,/33 Park St. are not approved, as submitted. The following items shall be noted and new plans submitted with corrected data. 1. Plan E-lA a. Oil burner switches shall be located just outside the boiler room. You may keep additional switches in the apartments if desired. b. Smoke detector shall be located at base of each stairway in basement. Location shown on plan is not at base of stairs. c. Each open basement area shall require one smoke detector. This may replace one heat detector now shown in open basement. Adjust diagram accordingly. 2, Plan E-2A a. Smoke detectors shall be placed appropriately at the base of each stairway, as it leads up to second floor, but not within the stairway. b. A silence alarm switch shall be provided on the fire alarm panel, with a key provided the fire department. This shall be so noted on the plan. 3. Plan E-3A a, Smoke detector to be placed at base of each stairway, and at the top of each stairway. Not as shown in hall area. b.. Smoke detectors located within each apartment unit shall be single station type, and shall be so identified on the plan and a symbol for same shall be added to the legend, on Plan EIA. c. Relocate single station smoke detector, in apartment hall approximately four feet into hall, so as to provide adequate protection for the third bedroom. 4. Revised plans should be submitted for review. 5.
