The foundation that is presently located on your lot at

may remain as it.is.
I cannot issue any BuildinG Permits to allow construction of
a Single Family Dwelling.
You may be able to subdivide the lot (a simple Form A ) , but
this would require action by the Planning Department, Mr. Charles
Frederickson is the person to talk to at 744-4580.
You would also need Zoning Board of Appeal action relating to
lot size, lot coverage, frontage etc. The application for the
Board of Appeals may be obtained from this Department, 2nd floor,
1 Salem Green.

The Salem Health Department has received complaints from neighborhood residents
about rodent activity originating from city-owned land on Pope/Proctor Streets.
Please be advised of 105 CMR 410.602 (A) of the State Sanitary Code Chapter II
which states:
The owner of such parcel of land (vacant or otherwise) shall correct any condition
caused by or on such parcel or its appurtenance which affects the health or safety
and well-being of the occupants of any dwelling or of the general public.
We request your assistance in eliminating those conditions promoting harborage of
rodents on this property.
