Re: Hanson Street Apartments On Thursday, May 7, 1987, the Planning Board held a public hearing under Section VII—R, Site Plan Review, of the Salem Zoning Ordinance, on the application of Brentwood Structures, Inc . with respect to the construction of twenty—two (22) condominium units at Nichols and Hanson Street. At a regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Board held on May 21 , 1987 , the Board voted by a vote of six in favor, none opposed, to approve the application as complying with the requirements for issuance of a Special Permit, subject to the following conditions: 1 . Conformance with Plan Work shall conform to plan entitled "Site and Drainage Plan, Hanson Street Apartments", dated February 23, 1987, revised May, 1987. 2. Utilities Utility installation shall be reviewed and approved by the Director of Public Services. 3. Landscaping Landscaping of the site shall conform to plan entitled "Site and Drainage Plan, Hanson Street Apartments", dated February 23 , 1987, revised May, 1987 . a. Trees shall be a minimum of 3 i" caliper. b. Maintenance of landscape vegetation shall be the responsibility of the developer, his successors or assigns. 4. Exterior Siding Material Wood clapboard siding, 4" exposure to the weather, shall be utilized as exterior siding. 5. Construction Practices - All construction shall be conducted in accordance with the following conditions: a. No work shall commence before 7:00 A.M. on weekdays and b. All reasonable action shall be taken to minimize the negative effects of construction on abutters. Advance notice shall be provided to all abutters in writing at least 72 hours prior to commencement of construction. C . All construction vehicles shall be cleaned prior to leaving the site so that they do not leave dirt and/or debris on roadways as they leave the site. 6. Violation Any violation of these conditions shall result in revocation of permit by the Planning Board. I hereby certify that a copy of this decision and plans have been filed with the City Clerk and copies are on file with the Planning Board. This Special Permit shall not take effect until a copy of this decision bearing the certification of the City Clerk that twenty (20) days have elapsed and no appeal has been filed or that if such appeal has been filed, and it has been dismissed or denied, is recorded in the Essex County Registry of Deeds and is indexed in the grantor index under the name of the owner of record or is recorded on the owner' s Certificate of Title.
