Forest of Fun!
I love color! And I love fun, fantastical designs. Salem does a terrific job of getting art onto the
streets for all to see. I would love to be a part of the Mural Slam project. Forest of Fun plays with
color, shapes and the imagination and will appeal to every age.
Sincerely,
Jill Feron
_- My name is Scott Froeschl. I am an artist living in
Salem, Massachusetts. I was born on Long Island,
New York, and moved to Vermont when I was
,:_
young. Growing up, I was fortunate to explore the
beauty and wonders of the natural world. I felt I was
able to connect with my surroundings, and enjoy the
purpose and structure of our delicate environment.
feel lucky to have had the opportunity in Vermont to slow down the
pace of growing up, and take a closer look at how things work.
I have always had a love for art. The north shore of Boston inspires
me, and the theme of being close to the sea continuously emerges in
my art. I enjoy creating art out of whatever is available, whether it is
found objects, things that nature has left behind, or traditional
materials. What I love most about art is the process of creating. My
passion is painting with acrylics on a myriad of surfaces, anywhere
from canvas to the heads of screws to recyclable materials.
Photography is also an avenue of creativity for me, as well drawing. I
feel my exploration of various materials and diverse methods of
creation make for an interesting body of work.
