RE: 27 Pickman Street
Dear Mr. Donoghue:
Due to several neighborhood complaints, I inspected the exterior of your property.
Please be advised that weed and overgrowth from your property are obstructing the
sidewalk. This violates the City of Salem Zoning Ordinance Section 38-9.
Therefore, you are directed to trim the shrubbery and weeds within ten (10) days upon
receipt of this letter. Failure to do so will result in legal action being filed against you in
Salem District Court.
Also, climbing the front stairs, I almost fell on the loose stone on the first step. Under
Massachusetts State Building Code, 780 CMR, Section 103.1`—Maintenance, a property
owner is responsible to maintain his or her property in a safe manner.
Please have this stair repaired within thirty(30) days.
