In response to complaint' s to Councillor-At-Large Richard E. Swiniuch
alleging possible Building Code and Zoning Ordinance violation' s at
your property located at 9 PearfSt. , An inspection of the property has
been made by this department with the following findings:
1. The property located in a residential two (2) family zoning district,
has been converted to a three (3) family dwelling without first
obtaining the necessary special permit from the Zoning Board of
Appeal.
2. Building Department records give no indication that the
necessary permits were abtained from this office to alter the
premises as required by MasFachusetts General Law.
In view of the above you are ordered, within thirty (30) days of your
receipt of this notice to discontinue the use of the third dwelling unit
and to contact this office during this period, for an inspection of the
property to confirm that you have complied with this order.
Failure on your part to conform with this order will necessitate that this
department take the appropriate legal action.
Please be advised that conviction of violation of the Massachusetts
State Vuilding Code carries a fine of one thousand dollars "1,000.00)
a day for each violation and each day the violation continues is a
separate offense,
Violation of the City Zoning Ordinance carries/a fine of one hundred
