The garages( at 49 Salem) are being used to repair automobiles and other related repairs. The garages are located in an R-3 neighborhood and are accessory to the property at 42 Park Street. The garages Should be used for accessory uses affiliated with the property.at 42 Park Street. They should not be rented to other individuals. The customary uses for residential garages is storage of household goods and parking/storage of automobiles. The work that is being performed in and in front of the garages is not appropriate for zoning and the release of oill and antifreeze on the street and potentially the storm drains or sewer constitutes environmental threats. You are directed to cease the repairing of automobiles at these garages.
