Mr. Robbie George, President Northside Carting Company 210 Holt Road NORTH ANDOVER MA 01845 Re: Unloading container Wendy's Restaurant 6 Paradise Road SALEM MA Dear Mr. George: I periodically receive complaints from constituents near the above captioned eating establishment, as well as at the adjoining Dunkin Donut shop 4 Paradise Road, about refuse contractors unloading refuse containers (dumpsters)earlier than 7:00 a.m. Salem City Ordinance Section 22-2 (4)prohibits loud,disturbing and unnecessary noise., between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day in such a manner to cause a noise disturbance across a residential real property boundary. Your attention is directed to an attached copy of this specific section. On Monday, June 11, 2001 @ approximately 06:22 a.m. I visually observed a Northside Carting Company vehicle unload a refuse container at the above captioned location in clear violation of Section 22-2. I am corresponding with you to ask that Northside Carting Company vehicles comply with the Salem City Ordinance and not empty refuse containers between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 07:00 a.m. In the future I will recommend my constituents contact the Salem Police Department when a vehicles is unloading a dumpster during prohibited hours.
