COMPLAINT: Ceiling falling down in first floor apartment I

ACTION TAKEN: `
A) Kevin Goggin was sent to investigate the complaint and
arrived at the location at 12 : 40 p.m.
B) Entered the apartment with permission of the tenant and
found ( 2x4 ) suspended ceiling tiles on floor and sink
soaked with water .
C) Landlord arrived at apartment approximately 12 ; 45 p .m.
He explained that a washing machine hose fell out of the j
sink in apartment above and flooded floor causing water to
come into apartment #1 below.
D ) Landlord and tenant agree to clean up mess and repairs
to ceiling would be done by landlord by the end of the
week. ( 8/22/97 )
E) No further action needs to be taken.
