Salem, MA 01970 ,
Dear Mr. Munroe,
I am writing to you in concern of a cement garage located on the property
of 7 Palmer St. This structure appears to be unsound for the following reasons.
First, the cement is severely cracked and the building itself is visibly
leaning towards our property. Should the garage collapse, it may cause
considerable structural damage to our property; or even injure someone inside.
The roof is rotted through. Standing behind my house, I can see through
it to the other side. Birds have been nesting in it for several years.
I often gather large splinters, and sometimes whole boards that have fallen
off. The garage doors are also rotten. Because of the rotten wood, I am
also writing to Fire Inspector Norman LaPointe and Ward 1 Councilor George
Nowak.
Please feel free to call me anytime at either number below. Your
cooperation will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Si erely,
n W. Caron
