Dear Members of the Design Review Board:
I am proposing to add a portable sign in front of my business, Penelope's Pet Boutique,
located at 99 Washington Street.
The sign will be a 2' x 3' plastic portable (A-Frame). The sign area will be 6 sq feet.
The sign color will be pink with my store name in black lettering. A photo of the
Chihuahua"Penelope" will be featured in a dog costume that is sold at the store. Other
products that we carry will be displayed vertically on the left side of the sign in black
lettering.
I would like to locate the sign 10 ft from my store entrance, in between a light pole and a
tree as shown on the attached plan. This location meets the 5' clearance and is within 10'
of the entrance.
My business has its own entrance. The other businesses in the building use different
entrances.
I look forward to discussing my proposal with you at the next DRB meeting.

Nostalgia (99 Washington Street) - Proposed signage
PROPOSAL:
The proposal includes the change in location of signage from 103 Washington Street
to 99 Washington Street. The proposed location is the exact location of the former
storeowners sign.
RECOMMENDATION:
At their meeting on March 24, 2004, the DRB recommended approval of the sign
location as submitted.
