The proposal did not meet the sign ordinance regulations(I believe the existing sign was installed without a permit). I outlined the city signage goals to the applicant and suggested that a non-illuminated sign may be a more appropriate solution. The applicant submitted a revised application that consists of a non-illuminated 30"x 12' hanging sign located over the entrance. The proposed sign is dark blue with gold leaf lettering. In addition,the existing light box sign would be removed. Recommendation: Approve as Submitted.
