Dear Ms. Costa-Natario:
It has come to the attention of the Entrance Corridor Overlay District Review Committee that
there have been temporary banners located at your place of business at 400 Highland Avenue which have
been erected longer than what is allowed. According to the City of Salem Sign Ordinance, such
temporary signs are only allowed for fifteen(15)days.
The Entrance Corridor Overlay District Review Committee has reviewed and approved an
application for a 75 square foot, channel lettered sign to be erected on the sign band of your storefront
facing Old Village Drive. We are requesting that you submit the proper sign permit fee and a copy of the
electrical permit, so that this application can be processed and the erection of this sign can take place as
soon as possible.
Please be advised that your request to place an additional sign on the side of the building facing
Highland Avenue has been denied by the Entrance Corridor Overlay District Review Committee.
