This letter shall serve as notification that all violations stated in our Department's
August 14,2012,Notice of Ordinance Violation Letter is no longer outstanding with this Department.
The unregistered boat has been removed and you are no longer in violation of City Ordinance 24-21
which prohibits the keeping of unregistered vehicles,boats and trailers.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this Department's request.

Dear Ms. Silva,
This Department has received numerous complaints regarding the storage of the powerboat at your property at 5
Ober Street. The Boat is open to the weather and is not registered.This is a violation of City Ordinance 24-21
which prohibits the keeping of unregistered vehicles ,boats and trailers. You are directed to contact this office
upon receipt of this letter to discuss this issue. Failure to respond will result in Municipal Code Tickets and
further enforcement actions

Dear Mr. Martineau:
Please be advised that I have examined various documentation
relative to the use of 5 Ober Street as a two family dwelling. I
have examined a letter from the Board of Assessors and various
census documentation.
Based on my review of this documentation, it is my opinion
that 5 Ober Street was a lawful two family residence prior to the
adoption of the City Zoning Ordinance in 1965. It is my opinion
that this building should be afforded the protection of Section
VIII (E) of the aforementioned ordinance relative to non-
conforming uses and this dwelling's current use as a two family
residence is permissible.
