Upon conducting an on-site inspection I found several unregistered vehicles. Although there was no repair work being done at the time of my visit, it seemed apparent that these vehicles were in the process of being worked on. Said property is located in a Residential Two Family District and this type operation is a violation of the City of Salem Zoning Ordinance. You are hereby ordered to cease and desist all repairs and to remove all unregistered vehicles from the premises. You are also ordered to remove all debris from vehicles, such as tires and exhaust systems, from the rear of the garage. Please notify this office within five (5) days of receipt of this notice to advise us of your course of action to rectify this situation. Tremblay: I am writing .in_response-to, your letter regarding `* the property on-36 Nursery St . — All of the cars on the property belong to either my son or my nephew. We are not fixing cars on this property except on our own vehicles . Two of the cars were registered one this year and one the end of last year until the boys were cut from full time to part time. I am more than willing to clean up the parts that are in the back yard and to rectify the situation as soon as possible. It will take us a little time to get the cars ready for sale but I can not afford to junk them as there is money tied up in them.
