I observed that the garage at the above property is in extremely dilapidated condition, open to the weather and in danger of collapse. This structure meets the definition of an "Unsafe Structure" as defined by the State Building Code 780 CMR Section 121. The garage structure was posted today and attempts were made to contact you by telephone. Under 780 CMR Section 121.3, you have until noon tomorrow to begin to remove or make the structure safe. If no action is taken by you, the City of Salem intends to exercise its right to have the structure demolished without delay.
