Dear Mr . Katsman:
Please be advised that we have not heard from you in
over 30 days concerning your ability to hire a contractor
to repair the parapet wall and lintels over the glass
block openings as ordered on June 18 , 1998 .
You are hereby ordered to hire a contractor
immediately to remove the dangerous parapet wall and
contact the Building Inspector with a definite schedule to
repair the unsafe structures .
Failure to comply with this order immediately and
contact this office within ( 5 ) five days will result in
legal action being taken against you in Salem District
Court.
Thank you in advance for your anticipated cooperation
in this matter.

Dear Mr . Katsman;
On Monday June 15 , 1998 , I conducted an inspection
of your property located at 190 North Street and found
problems with the front wall of your building.
1 . The parapet wall must be removed or replaced.
2 . The lintels over the glass block openings must be
replaced.
Please notice this office within ten ( 10 ) days upon
receipt of this letter as to what course of action you
will take to rectify these problems .

Dear Mi Goggin,
This is in reference to the letter 1 received from you regarding my lack of response over hiring.
contractor. If you verify,your records you will find that I had sent a letter,certified rnail. to the attention
of a Mr. Thomas St, Pierre on June 23, 1998, I have the receipt for validation. That letter stipulated that I
was in the process of finding a contractor to perform the work in question, however, the earliest time that
a mason could give me an estimate would be sometime in September Since I never received a response to
my statement, I presumed that you were in agreement with my endeavors.
However, I will update you on in progres's Since the time of June 23. The section of the paiatpet wall and
the lintels over the glass block opening,you were referring to. were both removed and dismantled over
two rnonths ago. There is now, no danger to the public. I am currently in the process of negotiating with
a potential contractor and will notify you if we come to agreeable terms
