Dear Ms. DeLorenzo
The above listed property has been found to be in violation of the following State Codes
and/or City Ordinances:Salem Sign Ordinance 3-36,3-29 and 3-57 as well as State bld
code 780 cmr section3102.4..
You were denied a sign permit back in November of 2005. You have maintained the sign
illegally from that date. You are directed to remove the sign immediately upon receipt of
this letter. Failure to remove the sign will result in both fines and a complaint being filed
in Salem District Court.
If you feel you are aggrieved by this order jour appeal is to the Board of Building
Regulations and Standards in Boston.

Dear Sir:
We, as heirs to the Estate of Anna V. O'Rourke, have placed the
above referenced property on the Real Estate Market. Our Broker,
Joan Vallone, of Barbara Goldberg Associates, has advised us to
write you to verify the status of this property as a multi family.
Although we believed this property to be a legal multi family
since 1937, our Broker advises us that it is not recorded as such
by the City of Salem. We hope the enclosed documentation will
substantiate our belief:

dated 7-14-38, showing Two (2) Family Status.

4. Photo copy of Holyoke Mutual Insurance Company in
Salem, Policy dated 7-7-84 - 7-7-85, noting 3 Family
coverage. Please note that this insurance company
has covered the propertysince 1954, always under
3 Family Status.
5. Photo copy of letter/statement from Mr. & Mrs. Baughn
who. reside at 166 North Street, (who are our neighbors
across the street) .
6. Please be advised that there are three (3) electric
meters in the property:

All of the attached information that we are in receipt of shows this
property is and has been used as a three, (3) family prior to zoning.
