Board of Appeal Mar 23 00 12: 28p 978-744-6814 p. 1 March 23,2000 Peter Strout Thomas St. Pierre Inspectors of Buildings City of Salem Dear Sirs, At this time I do not wish to have anyone from your department investigate any of the trailers I noted in my letter to you dated March 21, 2000.Please file the information for now. If forced,I may return to this issue at a later date. There are 2 reasons I do not want everyone else's trailers investigated even though the trailers plainly violate city ordinances. Reason 1: I realize that the building department is acting under orders to investigate and respond to the trailer parked on my property. I do not wish to make your lives difficult with hundreds of nuisance complaints similar to the one against me. Reason 2:I cannot in good conscience set your department on hundreds of people that I have no problem with. After all is said and done, I still have to live with myself I do, however have one trailer that I positively would like to have investigated at your earliest opportunity. The street is not marked, however I believe the address is 39 Ravenna. The exact directions are as follows:The street is the last left off Barcelona Ave. The house is number 39. The trailer is in plain view in back of 31 Barcelona Ave. The trailer and boat arc right up against the rear lot line. Please have this trailer moved to a location that does not violate city ordinances ASAP. Sincerely, Bruce A. Bornstein
