Dear Mr. Santo:
I have received your letter of April 24th regarding the Bouchard shed
which you say is five feet from the property line. The building is on the
property line, up against the rock garden, which was put there the last time
my late husband had the property surveyed, also because of Mr. Bouchard.
Anyway, I gather from the tone of your letter, that you and Bouchard measured
the shed, and that I had no reason to report this matter to,-your office. However,
last December when I contacted the Building's office I was told that they could
not find a building permit and also, apparently in error, that the building should
be 10 feet from the line.
EApparently Mr. Bouchard convinced you that he could have straightened out this
matter by conversation with me, but I do feel that if that is the case, the
conversation should have taken place before he erected the shed, and therefore it
would not have been necessary for me, as a tax—payer, to b_ her you in your office.

Dear Mrs. Soucy:
This is in reference to your letter dated April 12, 1990, received by this
office on April 17, 1990.
Mr. Bouchard does have a permit for a shed, which has to be only 5' from the
property line. Mr. Bouchard and I met on April 17, 1990 and measured the distance
from the approximate location of the property line. The rear of the shed was 5' ,
and the front of the shed was 4;' from the line. Mr. Bouchard said he would move
the shed so it would be 5' from the line as soon as he possibly could, he also
said all you had to do was talk with him and you could have straightened out this
matter without having to send a letter to this office.
If we can be of any further assistance, please contact this office.
Sincerely, n
