Parcels A and B are a portion of a larger parcel owned by the City of Salem. My clients Thomas and Jane Cote and Terry and Brenda Buckley would like to add Parcels A and B to their respective lots. In accordance with Article IX Section 2-1635 (b) of the City Ordinances, the land must be determined to be undevelopable and upon approval by the Mayor and City Council advertised for sale by sealed bid. Parcels A and B are undevelopable due to zoning restrictions on area, frontage and setbacks. I have enclosed a portion of the assessor's map showing Parcels A and B in highlight and Lots 42-0029 and 42-0028 (my clients' parcels) and Lot 42-0043 (the City owned larger parcel). Upon review and approval of the Mayor and City Council and a bid process in conformance with the ordinance, the successful bidder will then need to have the plan approved by the Planning Board.
