RE: Steve's Market snow removal issue
Dear Mr. St. Pierre,
I know it's been a tough winter with a lot of snow that everyone is having trouble dealing with,but I need
to inform you that the people at Steves Market are removing the snow from their parking lot and putting it
not only on my property at 8 High Street but also on public sidewalks and the street that has now become
a safety issue and potential legal issue.
I've tried to handle this with them directly, but they are not cooperative at all.
Please look into this matter directly with the owner of Steve's Market to help solve this issue.

design and practice, and approval is given on September 19, 1473 for the design
and Standard Operating Procedure of this unit for the reduction of not more than
160 Pounds of type 1 va,ste ger hour at the location indicated.
Approval shall not affect the responsibility of the owner or operator to
amply with Regulatien 2.5.3 which gives an emission limitation of 0.1 grains/set
at W CO2.
Approval is subject to the following proviso that the the Standard Operating
Procadure be suitably and permanently sftiied on or near the incinerator.

Mr Ingemi, This Department has received a complaint and photos showing contractors removing
snow from your property and placing it on the other side of Margin Street. City of Salem
Ordinance 38-12 prohibits persons from throwing, plowing or placing any snow onto a street or
sidewalk. Fines for this start at $20 and to a maximum of$200. We understand that this has been
a difficult winter but property owners must deal with their snow on their own property. You are
directed to cease this activity immediately. If you have any questions, please contact me directly.
