From 1969 until May 1980 we insured this building as a six (6) family apartment house. I was advised by Mrs. Frisch's family representative in the spring of 1980 that due to the fact that two (2) of the Buildings tenants were now occupying two (2) floors, the occupancy of the building had changed from six families to four families. Since it was financially advantageous to insure the building as a four (4) family as opposed to a six (6) , the policy was adjusted. Sinj erely, G orge°E. August 3, 1972 x'toom 7, Cite ?Iufl Albert R. Piteoff, Esq. , City Solicitor - City Hall, Salem, Massachusetts Dear fir. Pitcoff: Re-Presently ovrred McfUnnon Properties. With regard to the four residential buildings referred to by Mr. Wil- liam F. McKinnon as his properties in Salem, our records disclose the following information: 30 March Street: - There was difficulty with this-particular property; '--it ad been idle for a considerable length of time, and in 1966 Mr. McKinnon did some repair work and made the place hab- itable, having obtained a -permit to, install shingles, enclose +wo corner porches-,. and a new door with three- or four steps. - 4 Daniels Street Court- - I condemned the rear porches some years back. He h ebuilt .the porches and renovated the ,three apart ments .in -the house which is presently .occupied. . In 1969, we issued a permit to remove back and side porches from the three floors of the structure; in 1970, he was granted a permit to remove and replace some doors and windows, and to replace three --porche_s. 26 Daniels Street : He has been working on this house practically all of the S mer; in a few weeks, it will probably be ready for habitation. A permit was obtained from this office in 1970 to replace clapboards, and to repair window mouldings and porches. In March of this year, a permit was issued to remove bathroom partitions and restructure bathrooms with new plumbing, new iring, new ceilings, heating system. 14 Kosciusko Street: - In 196$ this house was in poor Condition. We issued a pe it in 1969 to install three windows, board in six forme orways, repair exterior stairway or replace same, and make general repairs to interior walls and ceilings. This is the extent of records in this department relating to these four parcels of property.
