Dear Owner,
I am writing to notify you that tenants of your property have erected a fence that goes across the front of your
property and then crosses the abutter's property line and across an established ,recorded right of way winding
up against her home at 7 Lyme. Your tenants, when questioned,responded that they have a dangerous dog.The
fence ,besides trespassing onto your abutter, also interferes with your abutters side egress. Most of this issue is
a Civil matter between the two property owners,but the interference with an egress constitutes a Building Code
violation.
Therefore ,you are directed to remove the section of fence interfering with abutters egress within 3 days of
receipt of this notice.Failure to address this issue will result in Municipal Code Tickets and further enforcement
actions. If you feel you are aggrieved by this order,your Appeal is to the Board of Buildings ,Regulations and
Standards in Boston. If you have any questions,please contact me directly.
